Action at Grave No. 7 at the Cemetery of Valencia

This video is a ritual experiment to occupy the grave as a space for invocation and listening. It is not a solemn tribute nor a documentary action, but an attempt to connect, through the body and vulnerability, with what remains beyond representation.
Art activates the latent energy of the disappeared bodies, recognizing that every mourning space is also a space of power. As Silvia Rivera Cusicanqui notes, “Ritual can be a form of liberation when it does not seek to control but to let itself be traversed by memory and affections.”
In this open, fragile but insistent gesture, the grave becomes a place of sensitive resistance, where absences are embodied and modify our position on death, power, and history.
