This proposal reflects on displacement and the construction of a device in the form of a float, which becomes a metaphor for "self" and "the other," as a way of affirming social bonds and opening up to improbable connections. This practice is grounded in a reflection on the distortion and transgression of space as an element that challenges the norms of perception, in line with Maurice Merleau-Ponty's theory of perception as a embodied experience¹³. Thus, the float acts as a device that allows exploring the relationship between space, body, and desire, thinking of a constant flow that challenges the categories of fixation and stability.
